Mindfulness @ Work
Feeling at home in the richness of the present moment, observing inner and outer phenomena without getting caught up in habitual thoughts and emotional tendencies.
As more and more organisations are becoming aware of the need to support the work-life balance of their employees, the benefits of mindfulness practices in reducing stress and improving ones well-being are increasingly being recognised. At Liverpool John Moores University mindfulness training programmes have been running for the last two years and close to 100 employees took part, providing overwhelmingly positive feedback.
Administered by the Business Development Centre at Liverpool John Moores University, we offer a range of mindfulness programmes including:
- Introductory presentations and taster sessions
- Two half-day workshops as part of our Business Tool Kit
- Full 8-week programme
- Workshops of agreed length and frequency
- Bespoke programmes for large national and international companies and organisations
- Continuous support
- Online support and follow up
